Refund and Cancellation Policy

We sincerely thank you for choosing e-foodlicense.in as your trusted platform for hiring specialists for FSSAI License (FSSAI Registration License only) or purchasing services from our website www.e-foodlicense.in (hereinafter referred to as “E-Food License”).

Please read this policy along with the Terms and Conditions carefully, as they outline important information regarding your rights and obligations as our customer concerning any purchase or specialist hiring for FSSAI Registration License services.

We strive to provide expert assistance in a timely manner and ensure that our specialists deliver services as per specifications and agreed timelines. However, if, due to any reason, the specialists are unable to provide you with services beyond consultancy—such as assistance in drafting and application submissions—you will be entitled to a full refund under the following conditions:

1. Eligibility for Refund

  • A refund will be considered only in cases where there is a clear and visible deficiency in the service provided by the specialist.
  • Refunds will not be granted if the request is based solely on a change of mind, an inadvertent application, or any other non-valid reason, without any fault or deficiency on the part of e-foodlicense.in or the specialists.
  • Once the expert has completed the work (including application drafting, submission on the government portal, and license issuance), refunds will not be entertained, even if the request is based on a change of mind or any other reason not attributable to the expert.
  • Refunds will not be provided if you request services other than the Registration License (State License and Central License) from our specialists. However, we offer the option to adjust the paid amount towards a State License or Central License service, which costs an additional ₹3,500 (excluding government fees).

2. Refund Request Timeframe

  • Refund requests raised after 30 days from the purchase date will not be considered if the work has already been completed and communicated via email or any other mode of communication.
  • If a refund is approved by e-foodlicense.in, it will be processed and intimated via email. The refund process may take up to 15 business days to reflect in your bank account.

3. Situations Where Refunds Will Not Be Provided

  • Clerical errors (such as spelling mistakes, address discrepancies, or other minor human errors) will be corrected free of charge, but no refund will be issued in such cases.
  • Delays beyond 24 working hours due to user-related shortcomings, such as insufficient document submission, failure to provide required information, missing credentials for renewal, additional document requirements, or government portal issues, will not qualify for a refund.
  • In special cases, a 20% refund may be granted at the sole discretion of e-foodlicense.in.
  • Refunds will not be provided if:
    • The registration license provided for renewal has already expired. A registration license can be renewed 30-45 days before expiration and up to 6 months after expiry (as per government rules). If renewal is applied after expiry, government late fees/penalties will apply, which must be borne separately by the client. If the renewal grace period lapses, a new registration application must be submitted, and the amount paid for renewal services will not be adjusted or refunded.
    • A specialist has shared an application draft within 15 days of the request.

4. Force Majeure Clause

e-foodlicense.in will not be held liable for disruptions, interruptions, or delays in service due to unforeseen circumstances beyond our reasonable control. These include but are not limited to natural disasters (earthquakes, floods, fires, storms), acts of God, epidemics, government actions, legal changes, terrorism, wars, labor strikes, or other similar events.

5. Service Timeline and Communication

We aim to engage or establish communication with specialists within 24-48 hours. However, in some cases, the process may take longer, potentially exceeding 15 days, depending on expert availability. If services have not commenced or no communication has been provided within 15 days of payment, a full refund is available.
